Getting Married!!

Craig and I decided to move are wedding up from next July to this coming Wednesday the 14Th of December. We were talking about marriage and the baby and we decided that we didn't want to wait we wanted to get married before the baby is born... I have 3 weeks left until my due date so we had to plan a quick wedding. The Bishop from my LDS Church is going to perform the wedding for us at the park in a gazebo it will be nice. I don't really like snow, but I kind of wish there was just a little snow on the ground so that it would look like a December wedding.

Some of you maybe wondering why I wont be having a temple wedding well it is just not in the cards for me, but I know that even though I marry Craig who is not of the LDS faith we will be together for eternity. Also I lost my way from the church a bit obviously I am pregnant and not married, but god will forgive me for my mistakes, because that is the way god is. 

The good and the bad news with my pregnancy!!!

Good news is always better first then the bad new right so here we go.

Good news is that I can try to have a VBAC(vaginal birth after c-section) they were worried that it might be the wrong type of scar on the inside on my uterus, but they finally got the reports and it is the right type of scar and we are set to be able to try for a vaginal birth this time around..


Bad news is that I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I have to count my carbohydrates every time I eat food. I also have to check my blood sugar 4 times a day. Checking my blood sugar is not to bad it doesn't hurt. When I first got diagnosed my blood sugar was to high so they put me on a pill to take at night time now my blood sugar has been fine.

Even with the good and the bad news I am just happy to have a healthy baby growing inside of me. We went out and bought her a bed the other night and we set it up in are room. There is only 9 more weeks before her due date she could come sooner or later who knows I don't mind when she comes as long as she is healthy. The only things that we have left to buy her is a car seat and some more clothes to wear I love my baby so much I can't wait until she is born I love sitting down and watching her move around inside of me it is such an amazing thing I love my family they are amazing!!!

Nakomis is also very excited to be having a baby sister she talks to my belly every day and tells the baby that she is her big sister and that she loves her she also gives my belly hugs and kisses and she pretends to tuck the baby in to sleep lol she is an amazing 4 year old child and I would not have asked for anything else god has given us an amazing life and she is meant to be with me!!!  

21 weeks pregnant

I am 21 weeks pregnant half way there it is amazing how fast pregnancy goes. What I have been up to lately I have been reorganizing are house getting ready for Tallynn to join are family I have been moving things around making space for Tallynn. I have pretty much gotten all the diapers I will need to start with I am doing cloth diapers. Next month I will be buying the diaper bag and a few more diapering cloths. In October we will be buying the bedding and in November we will be buying the car seat we are also buying Nakomis a new booster seat for in the car. and as we go we will be buying a ton of clothes for Tallynn. I love my family so very much I am so happy that I am having another baby girl and Nakomis is extremely excited that she is going to have a little sister. 

We Are Having Another Girl!!!!!

We found out on August 17Th that we are going to be having another baby girl!!! We decided that we are going to name her Tallynn Toryanna Haywood. We are very excited to be having another baby girl. We also decided to use my family's tradition with this baby by using the Letter T for the First and middle names my dads parents named all of there kids names where the first initial was the same as the second initial so we decide we wanted to pass that tradition on to one of our children.

I am 17 weeks pregnant!!!!

Well I just had my 4 month OBGYN appointment yesterday July 27Th it went great at first they had a hard time to find the heart beat, but you could hear the baby moving around so they were not worried they did eventually hear the heart beat and it was 150 beats a minute which is great. I get to have an ultrasound on August 17Th when I am 20 weeks pregnant or 5 months. At that appointment I will be or should be able to find out if I am having a boy or a girl. I am very excited to know what I am having. When I find out if it is a boy or a girl it will be so much easier on Craig and I, because that way we can start buying things that are gender specific like clothing and such. I can also let my family know and we can start planning a baby shower. I love my family so much I am so glad to have them in my life! Craig is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time I am so glad that he is here for me through all of what I have been through. I love you Craig, Nakomis and Baby Haywood I can't wait for you to join the family.

I also have started to feel the baby move. I started feeling him/her move at about 13 weeks, but now in the past week I have been able to feel the baby move way much more! This pregnancy has been a lot different then the one I had with Nakomis this time around it is different in so many ways I really can't explain in words, but I think I am having a boy this time I want a boy so maybe that's why I feel that way, but when I was pregnant with Nakomis I felt like I was having a girl and I had a girl so maybe it is possible to know what you are having before the doctors are able to confirm it for you.

Summer time update!!

Well it has been raining a lot so we have been stuck home a lot! July 5th though we were able to get to the pool again and Nakomis has learned to hold her breath to go under water she still needs to learn how to swim, but one step at a time. July 6th we went to get ice cream at Giffords and after we ate are ice cream we played a little bit of mini golf, but it started to down poor while we were in the middle of playing so they gave us free passes to come back and play for free. When we got home we were out of power, but it was late and it was Nakomis bed time so I sent her to bed and Craig and I stayed up and watched a movie on are lap top computer then went to bed are selves the power did not come back on until midnight. July 7th we went to the lake Nakomis had a ball playing in the sand and swimming in the water with her Aunt Megan and Uncle Reilly we had a picnic at the lake we ate bologna sandwiches and orange slices. After we were done at the lake Grampa Darney my father took us out to ice cream at Giffords then we went back to Grampas house and played in the back yard with the hose until it got to cold. We came back in got dried off and watched some children's shows on TV until it got late and we came home and went to bed.

Fun at the pool !!

What Nakomis loves the most about the summer time is being able to go to the town pool and swim. That is what we did today we went to the town pool and swam we were able to swim for 4 hours today it was wonderful. I like swimming, because it is so enjoyable and relaxing. I am sure that we are going to sleep well tonight.

More Gymnastics now that summer has started!!

Well now that summer has begun Nakomis is now doing 2 classes a week in Gymnastics which is great, because we do not have a yard to play in where we live so it is hard for us to get out of the house on a daily bases we try though, but with house work and stuff we don't always get the time to get outside and play. We are always actively moving though so at least we are not stuck on the couch. We always limit T.V. time to an hour or less each day.

What we have been up to since school let out for summer!!!

Well we haven't really gotten to do a lot of things yet this summer, because it has been raining a lot so far, but the other day we did get to go to the park, and draw with some sidewalk chalk. Nakomis loves to play with sidewalk chalk she loves art and I am glad that there is something that she enjoys to do.

What I plan to do this time around!!

Well when the baby is born I plan to do things that will help us as a family save money.

1.Cloth Diapers.
2.Make homemade baby food.
3.Buy used save the difference (clothes).
4.Make things that can be made verses buying them. some times you can make more for less.
5.Learn to knit sweaters and mittens stuff like that.

Things I did in the past.

1.Breastfed thats a plus
2.Bought baby food (expensive)
3.Bought disposable diapers (extremely expensive)
4.Bought all of the clothes mostly at full price (bad Idea)

After the baby is born and I have gotten a little experience in what I am planing to do I will update you on how it is going on are budget!!

The reason I am going to go with cloth diapers this time!!

Well I have decided to go with cloth diapers when the baby comes. I decided cloth this time around, because I know that having Nakomis and another baby our budget is going to be a little tighter. It is much cheaper to go with cloth diapers then it is to go with disposable diapers. I am also going to try and be more green and take care of the plant better so I don't want to be a mother who uses disposable diapers and fills the landfills with diapers that take more then 500 years to bio-degrade. With cloth diapers I am not throwing anything into the trash. I am also thinking about going with cloth baby wipes. 

Reading with a 3 1/2 year old!!!

Today is Raining again I guess you have to love it. Well since we can't go outside and play today we are staying in and reading stories. Nakomis loves to be read to over and over again. When we read a story we talk about the pictures on each page before we actually read the words, because she likes to see if she can figure out what is happening next. I hope that the older she gets the more she likes to read. I hope she never forgets the story times that we have had together. I plan to read to my children every night maybe even when they get older if we stick with it now maybe it will become a tradition to always read stories together. I love spending time with Nakomis and I can't wait until my baby is born so that I can read to him or her as well and see the expression that they get on there face when we read a fairy tale. 

Crazy Weather!!

For the past week we have had nothing but rain, but today the sun is out and shining bright. There are still clouds in the sky so we are staying in the house today, because it looks like it could rain any minute and I hate the rain I really don't want to take Nakomis out to the park in case it rains we don't have any umbrellas. So we are spending the day inside reading and doing crafts and watching movies. We might even bake cookies later I love Nakomis a lot and I can't wait until the baby is born so that we can do things together as a family. I have the most wonderful family in the whole world Craig helps me out so much and treats me so well and Nakomis is the perfect 3 year old she tries so hard to help out around the house. 

When I found out I was pregnant again!!

My fiancée Craig and I had been trying to get pregnant for over a year. I was doing everything to try and get pregnant. I was keeping track of dates and my period it was a nightmare. Month after month I was not pregnant. So after a while I gave up on getting pregnant I still kept track of my periods but I didn't obsess over getting Pregnant or not. So as soon as I stopped trying so hard to get pregnant I missed my period so I waited a week to be sure that I really missed my period. So on Easter I tested with a Home pregnancy test and it was positive. I was so excited I couldn't wait to tell all my family and friends. then I called my doctor on that Monday and they were able to get me in right away that day. So I went to the doctor and I told them what was going on and the nurse wanted me to pee in a cup, but I was unable to pee then the doctor came in and told me that a positive home test was a positive and they didn't need to re-test me. Well any way my regular doctor does not do OBGYN so they had to refer me to one. So I went the following week to see the OB and they took urine and blood tests and scheduled me for and ultrasound for the middle of that same week. I went to the ultrasound and got to see my small little growing baby on the monitor well it looked more like a spec but it was my little baby. They couldn't see what they were looking for yet it was to early so they scheduled me to come back in a week for another ultrasound appointment. So a week later I went into the OB office to have another ultrasound and it was amazing how much bigger it was in just a week now you kind of could tell that it was a little baby in there if you looked hard. The ultrasound tech mesured the baby with her machine and after she was done she let me hear the baby's heart beat it was amazing and it was really hard for me to I was fighting back tears, because Craig was not able to be there with me he had to work. I love my little growing family so much I am so glad that I am going to spend the rest of my life with Craig. 

My daughter!!

My daughter is 3 years old almost 4 she will be 4 in August she is a joy to have around. She goes to preschool 4 days a week and she loves it. She loves to sing and dance. She goes to Gymnastics every Saturday she enjoys getting exercise. We try to always find something to keep us busy. Nakomis also likes to cook and clean house. I think that Nakomis favorite part of cooking is getting to eat the product after.
